About Us.......A Little History
We are a local cowboy church where we ride for The Brand to gather up the strayed and the lost for Christ.
On Easter Sunday, 2006, 16 people with a love for the Cowboy culture met at Ike Daniels' old feed store in Rusk, TX to begin a Cowboy Church.
Branded by Christ Cowboy Church was born.
In January, 2007, 18 acres of land were purchased and the arena was built. Within a few short months, the first building was erected, and the inside was constructed
by a dedicated group of church members working daily, and giving up their weekends to build our Cowboy Church.
An anonymous donor saw a need for children's classrooms, and these were constructed. We quickly outgrew our first building, and a larger building was built in 2010.
In 2014 Branded by Christ Cowboy Church became part of The American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches (AFCC) which is a non-profit Christian organization made up of cowboy
churches whose leaders and congregations believe that the Bible is the true, complete and unfailing Word of God.
Our student ministry has outgrown their building again, so another anonymous donor has donated a 2000 square foot building for classrooms, which is close to completion.
God has continued to bless our church as we reach out to the unchurched and unsaved cowboys and cowgirls in our surrounding areas. If you love the Western culture, and the
